Mohammed Shaikh, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist who has dedicated his career to helping people with chronic pain. He leads the team in Dallas and Grapevine, Texas.
Dr. Shaikh’s focus is helping patients feel like themselves again through healthy, sustainable treatment practices with a holistic approach to care. He understands that no two people are alike, and with that in mind, he tailors each treatment plan specific to each individual patient.
Dr. Shaikh is from Toledo, Ohio, and he knew from an early age that he was interested in medicine. He graduated as the valedictorian from St. John’s Jesuit High School. He then graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, with a degree in microbiology. He decided to continue his medical education at the Ohio State University and went on to complete his internship at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Colombus, Ohio.
Dr. Shaikh then completed his anesthesiology residency at the nationally recognized Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He then completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami, named the nation’s #1 pain management program in 2015.
Dr. Shaikh loves spending time with his wife and daughters in his free time. When he is not helping change diapers or reading bedtime stories, he enjoys playing in various basketball and flag football leagues, lifting weights, and cycling. When he can, Dr. Shaikh enjoys traveling and trying exciting new cuisines.
Dr. Shaikh enjoys serving the people of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, helping them with their pain management needs.
